My Fender Chop

This was my first and cheapest modification. When I say cheapest I mean it was free. I first saw this mod on GStwin and had to agree with the author that the fender is very square and ugly. It still took me two tries to get up the nerve to cut away that much of my new bike. The first two images give you a good idea of how much I cut off and where I moved the signals to. I also moved the license plate bracket up as far as it would go and I left a little square bit of plastic for it to bolt on to. Like the Gstwin how-to, I used a dremal tool to cut away the round parts where the signals mount. For the straight cuts I used the X-acto saw seen in the last image because I can not cut a straight line with a dremal.
